The hotel had good parking and was a short walk to the city center. The staff members were polite and helpful. I appreciated their approachability. The location is also near the railway station and bus station. The hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere.
My room had no shelves in the bathroom.

i stayed for three nights, and the hotel's location was a major plus. it's close to the main attractions and shops, so i could walk everywhere (around 10-20 minutes). the staff were always helpful and pleasant (i always appreciate that). the inn collection app gave me a discount (which is always great) and a free drink.
the room was a little too warm for my liking, slightly difficult to sleep (but that's just me).

the double room featured standard toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. the room was well-appointed with a good standard of cleanliness, so that was definitely a plus. full-length windows brought in plenty of natural light.

the staff responded quickly to my requests, and check-in was efficient. the bar staff seemed to run the hotel (which was unusual). tourist information brochures were available in the entrance way.

the hotel provides on-site parking spaces (a great convenience). the bar had a nice atmosphere with a mix of guests and locals. there is a garden area out front.

the hotel is near a parkland area and a woodland for walks. it's an easy walk to the castle, university, and shops (very convenient). the train station is also easily accessible.

the car park was included, i was really excited. i didn't have to book a table for meals because the kitchen was open for meals all day. it made everything so easy and convenient, i loved it!
the noise from the kitchens was very noticeable and disturbed my sleep. music and shouting were constant, it really bothered me.
